In the news: Record Grandparents’ U a multigenerational hit
The Green Bay Press-Gazette and NBC 26 on Thursday (July 11) captured the fun and learning of UW-Green Bay’s Grandparents’ University (GPU), coming to campus to tell the stories of the popular program. GPU enrollment is a record 204 campers for 2013, up more than 50 participants from last year. Many of its popular “major” offerings filled quickly, reflecting the diversity of interests in the grandkids ages 7-14 and their grandparent fellow campers. The Press-Gazette coverage features a few of GPU’s many popular majors, including hand drumming, rocketry and nutrition class.
