Somehow, the UW Band sounds sweeter after a win

While normally we might hesitate to promote an appearance by the UW-Madison Varsity Band on this campus, this time we’ll make an exception. (With Phoenix wins this past season over the Badger men’s and women’s basketball teams and men’s soccer team — the first time Green Bay has achieved that trifecta in its primary sports — we’re feeling a little magnanimous.) The annual UW band concert will this time celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famous fight song “On Wisconsin”, in concert this Sunday (April 11) at the Weidner Center. Click here for ticket info.
