U.S. Postal Service Announces New Prices for 2013

The U.S. Postal Service has announced a general increase of 4% for mail services effective Jan. 27, 2013. Price increases for some of the more commonly used services are listed below:
• First Class Letters, 1 oz. — 1-cent increase to 46-cents
• Postcards — 1-cent increase to 33-cents
• International Letters, 1 oz. (all) — $1.10 (Canada & Mexico used to be 85-cents with everywhere else being $1.05)
• Priority Mail:
Small Box — 65-cent increase
Medium Box — $1.50 increase
Large Box — $2.20 increase
Regular Envelope — 70-cent increase
Legal Envelope — 65-cent increase
Padded Envelope — 85-cent increase
