Airdate set for prodigy’s PBS special, taped here

The airdate is set for Ethan Bortnick’s PBS special, taped before a lively crowd of 1,300 this summer at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. “Ethan Bortnick Live in Concert: The Power of Music” will debut on Wisconsin Pubic Television at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 (also commencement day, for those keeping track). As we told you here earlier, the 12-year-old prodigy, along with special guest stars, put on one heck of a July show benefitting the Kress/Mattson Parkinson’s Fundraiser.
