Liberal arts essay scholarship competition

The fourth annual Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition has $2,000 and $500 scholarships available to students who best promote understanding of the purpose and value of a liberal arts and science education. The essay topic is discussing ways that a liberal education prepares students to be more engaged and effective citizens; focusing on citizenship at the local, national and/or global levels. Each UW-Green Bay finalist will receive $500 and be eligible for a $2,000 scholarship. The statewide competition features up to 39 essays from students across the UW System.
