Shakespeare comes to campus, and a ticket deal for students


Fans of the Bard are well aware that the highly regarded Aquila Theatre Company is coming to the Weidner Center on Monday (Oct. 22) for a 7:30 p.m. mainstage performance of “The Taming of the Shrew.” They might also have seen the LA Times review: “The Aquila Theatre brings intelligence and laser-sharp line readings to this eminently enjoyable modern-dress take on Shakespeare’s comedy.” New today, however, is the good news of $10 Student Rush tickets now available. Two tickets are available per valid student ID. Must be purchased in person at University Ticketing in the Student Union or 90-minutes prior to show at the Weidner Center box office.
