An inside look at the National Gallery of Canada
Join the Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement for an inside look at the National Gallery of Canada, one of the largest museums in North America, Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 2 to 3 p.m. The Gallery has one of the finest collections of Indigenous and Canadian art in the world, as well as masterworks from numerous other artistic traditions.
The Gallery works with artists and arts organizations across Canada and around the world to share humanity’s collective story through art. Signs and symbols play a pivotal role in creative storytelling. Our tour will explore and interpret how artists use symbolism, imagery and iconography.
