Photos from a colorful day for running at UW-Green Bay
More than 7,000 runners and walkers sprinted and strolled through the 3.1 miles course that highlighted UW-Green Bay’s central campus— past Studio Arts, Residence Life, Kress Center, Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, Cofrin Library, Lab Sciences, Wood Hall and the Weidner Center. Each “wing” of campus had a color station with volunteers sprinkling the colored food-grade cornstarch on each participant. Student Life’s Grant Winslow said there were more than 250 student volunteers (student groups could earn money for their organization by volunteering their time, and UW-Green Bay alumna Kari Polczynski Dawson ’01 served as race director and brought the event to campus.
