Latin film series: ‘Dayani Cristal’

The third film in the five-part Latin American Film Series arrives at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 2) with a free screening in the Union’s Christie Theatre of the Sundance award winner (cinematography, 2013), ¿Quién es Dayani Cristal? The 85-minute Marc Silver film uses a documentary style to tackle the mystery of an unidentified immigrant found dead in Arizona’s Sonora Desert, retracing the man’s dangerous journey north.
