Campus Compact announces service learning conferences

Our friends at Campus Compact share notice of the following major Midwest events related to service learning that are scheduled in the coming year:

Upper Midwest Civic Engagement Summit (June 9-10, 2015)
Co-sponsored by the Campus Compacts of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, this event offers faculty, professional staff, student and community leaders opportunities to network and learn from and with one another while discussing challenging issues facing our campuses and communities. http://www.midwestengagementsummit.org/

Midwest Service Leaders Conference (Oct. 24-26)
The Midwest Service Leaders Conference is a student-led regional conference aimed at helping students develop skills, passion, and knowledge to inspire meaningful service projects on campus, in their communities, and throughout the world. The 2014 conference is entitled “People. Passion. Progress” and will be held at Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. http://www.wartburg.edu/mslc/
