Pride Center offering SAFE Ally training
UW-Green Bay’s Pride Center is offering SAFE Ally level 1 and 2 training on Wednesday, July 11. Level 1 is from 10 a.m. to noon and level 2 is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Union, World Unity B. The fee for the training is $10 per person, and is to be paid upon arrival. There is no fee for UW-Green Bay faculty/staff, enrolled students or alumni. The recently updated training provides insights for individuals who want to learn more about LGBTQ+ topics or concerns, and how to be a better ally. Participants who complete level 1 will receive a SAFE Ally sticker to post by their work desk or residence hall room. Participants who complete level 2 will receive a completion certificate for the SAFE Ally program. RSVP for level 1 here and for level 2 here.
