Talking about multicultural hair

Student members of the campus Women of Color group have lined up a great speaker to talk about multicultural hair. The program title is “You are not your Hair: Making Peace with the Hair Piece.” Do you treat people differently because of what their hair looks like? Do you know why you wear your hair the way you do? Come learn how history influences your hair dos, hair don’ts and hair attitude. Join Women of Color and Universal Designs Salon owner Kimyatta Ratliff at 6 p.m. next Tuesday (April 7) in Phoenix Rooms B and C. Free and open to the public.
