Phoenix to play quarterfinal game here Wednesday night

The 2012-13 Horizon League Women’s basketball tournament season begins tonight (Monday, March 11) with a first round game featuring ninth-seed UIC (9-20, 5-11) playing at eighth-seed Valparaiso (10-19, 5-11). The winner will go on to face Green Bay (26-2, 16-0) at 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 13).  If the Phoenix wins that one, the Kress will host the semifinals and finals.
