Lawton Gallery to host biomedical ethics exhibit, related panel
UW-Green Bay’s Lawton Gallery will host a timely and thought-provoking exhibition that kicks off Thursday (March 1) with a 4:30-6:30 p.m. opening reception, including a curator’s introduction and panelist facilitator’s remarks. “TAKE CARE: Biomedical Ethics in the Twenty-Frist Century” is an exhibition featuring 13 works of nine contemporary female artists whose art, in a variety of media, addresses the unprecedented bioethical dilemmas brought about by the rapid advancement of medical technology. The Lawton Gallery will host the exhibit through March 29, and hold a related interdisciplinary panel from 10:30-11:30 Wednesday, March 7. We’ll have more details on the panel in our next issue, or click here.
