Notice of desk chair recall
Our colleagues at state DOA headquarters in Madison want us to know that the Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled Steelcase model #482 Series Amia Desk Chairs manufactured between March 1 and June 6, 2011. Something about faulty pivot pins and a potential fall hazard. End users of Office Furniture contract #15-42500-110 who have purchased this chair from a Steelcase dealer are advised to follow the remedy process noted at www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml12/12712.html.
