If you see very intelligent pool sharks on campus this Saturday…

UW-Green Bay’s University Union will host the Association of College Unions International Region 8 competition day this Saturday (Feb. 5). The event attracts students and some staff from universities and colleges in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and the Chicago area. The events taking place include a round of the National Academic Quiz Tournament and the Regional Recreation Tournament (specifically, Billiards 9-Ball and Table Tennis). The events will take place in the University Union and Kress Events Center, starting at 8 a.m. All are welcome to watch the skilled participants.

Volunteers welcome: Should anyone have an interest in assisting at an event, Saturday’s organizers are specifically looking for moderators and scorers for the National Academic Quiz Tournament. Interested individuals can contact Steve Zywicki and/or Kelly Kramp of the Union staff.
