‘Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings’ coming to the Lawton Gallery, Jan. 30
The Lawton Gallery would like to announce the opening of the exhibition “Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings.” This retrospective will showcase select works of Prof. Emeritus Christine Style, spanning over her 30+ year career. Style, who got her MFA in Printmaking from UW-Milwaukee, works primarily in printmaking and drawing, and pieces will be selected and curated for this exhibition by Annemarie Sawkins.
The opening reception will take place Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Lawton Gallery (Theatre Hall, Room 230). The Exhibition will be open from January 30, 2020 to Feb. 28, 2020 during gallery hours (Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
The Lawton Gallery would also like to invite students, faculty and community members to attend an artist talk by Christine Style on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Studio Arts Room 411. Style will be talking about her work on display in the exhibition “Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings.”
