Back-to-Back-to-Pack’: Tip-off times change ahead of Saturday’s Packers playoff

The Phoenix men’s and women’s basketball teams will tip off earlier than originally scheduled Saturday (Jan. 12) to avoid conflicting with the Green Bay Packers’ 7 p.m. playoff game in San Francisco. The UW-Green Bay women will take on Wright State at noon at the Kress Events Center (a game originally scheduled for 2 p.m.). The men’s team will host UIC at 3 p.m. at the Resch Center, in a game originally set for 7 p.m. In conjunction with the games, Athletics is offering a “Back-to-Back-to-Pack” promotion, in which season ticket holders for either team can buy a ticket for the other team’s game for $5. The general public can purchase a package that includes tickets for both games for $14 for adults and $12 for youth and seniors. Full details.
