Reminder: Second round of Facilities interviews begins today (and room change)
The third finalist for the position of Director of Facilities Planning and Management will be making a public presentation this afternoon (Thursday, Aug. 19). Each candidate is addressing “Creating a Culture of Sustainability,” followed by a question-and answer period.
The remaining candidates:
• Michael Mueller, facilities manager of commercial properties, Pacific Management, Inc., Chicago — forum from 2:15 to 3 p.m. Thursday, August 19 in MAC Hall Room 137.
• Bruce Frantz, former director of facilities management, North Dakota State University, Fargo — forum from 2:15 to 3 p.m. Monday, August 23, in MAC Hall Room 137.
• Paul Vandenberg, former deputy operations officer, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii — forum from 2:15 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, in MAC Hall Room 137.
A field of three finalists for the position was announced in mid-July, but one candidate withdrew before the campus-visit stage. With today’s additions the list of finalists under consideration stands at five. Those who have already made on-campus presentations are Virginia Fullwood and Paul Pinkston.
Please note: The MAC 137 location represents a change of location from the earlier Fullwood and Pinkston sessions.
