Bookstore plans fun display for busy WSMA Solo Ensemble day


As we draw closer to that first Saturday in May and the annual WSMA Solo Ensemble day, when thousands of young musicians and their families flock to campus for the students to be judged as individual and/or group performers, the Phoenix Bookstore is planning something creative. They’re asking UW-Green Bay faculty and staff members to polish up those old WSMA (or other) Solo Ensemble medals and bring them to the bookstore, where they will be proudly assembled for prominent display. They’re also looking for people to bring in photos of their old high school band/choir/orchestra days. “Our guests for the day will be suitably impressed with your musical accomplishments, and entertained by your geeked-out photos.”
