UW ponders hotline to battle fraud


A hotline could soon be in place to report waste, fraud or abuse by University of Wisconsin System employees or schools, separate from an existing hotline run by the state audit bureau. The System’s Board of Regents were to hear Friday about the new proposal, which officials said would put it in line with similar schools nationally and in the Big Ten Conference.
