Chancellor Search and Screen to host listening sessions next week

The process of selecting UW-Green Bay’s sixth chancellor is moving right along, as the 23-member Search and Screen Committee met for the first time Friday (Jan. 24) and has scheduled a series of public forums for next week. The group will host four listening sessions to gauge campus and community input on what characteristics the committee should emphasize in choosing the University’s next leader. One-hour forums will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28; 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29; and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30. All sessions will be held in Phoenix Room A of the UW-Green Bay University Union.

“Our goal is to seek as much input as possible from a diverse array of stakeholder groups, both on campus and in the community,” said UW-Green Bay Prof. and Search Committee Chair Cheryl Grosso. “UW-Green Bay’s next Chancellor will serve not only as the leader of this University, but also will be an important community figure.
