Center for Public Affairs has second green option for 7 pm Tuesday
We told you in our last LOG newsletter about the “Upcycled Textile Showcase” scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday (March 5) in Phoenix Room B. Now, the Center for Public Affairs informs of another green event scheduled for the same date and time, in this case in the Christie Theatre. Their film series will screen No Impact Man, which follows the Manhattan-based Beavan family as they abandon their high consumption 5th Avenue lifestyle and try to live a year while making no net environmental impact. The screening will be followed by commentary from guest speaker Karl Klein, Onondaga College, Syracuse, N.Y., who will be ‘skyped’ in to discuss with the audience the strategies he used at his own home to reduce his environmental footprint.
