Alumna Kou Vang to exhibit at Neville Public Museum
A UW-Green Bay alumna will have her work showcased through Feb. 3 at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County. “Portraits of Hmong Women by Kou Vang” features 14 photo portraits of Hmong women in traditional and contemporary dress, along with their stories. The display is set to run in conjunction with the “Who are the Hmong?” exhibit, scheduled to run at the Museum through May 5, according to the Press-Gazette. Vang is a Hmong-American woman, artist, writer, advocate, wife and mother. She received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Green Bay and her master’s from Cardinal Stritch University. Read more.
