D’oh! Lecture series resumes with ‘Homer Simpson goes to Washington’

The Historical Perspectives Lecture Series resumes at 2:15 p.m. Monday (March 30) in the Union’s Christie Theatre, as political scientist Joseph Foy speaks on “Homer Simpson goes to Washington: American Government in Popular Culture.” He’ll touch on shows from “The Simpsons” to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and contemporary movies in analyzing how they influence our democratic process.
