The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) recently reported its dual-credit enrollment impact for the 2024-25 academic year. Luxemburg-Casco High School (LCHS) students participated significantly in UWGB programs, earning 1,001 college credits last year. These students saved a collective $606,734.92 in tuition costs, earning dual credit in three of the four ways offered by UWGB.
Over half of the college credits earned (523) were through the university’s Rising Phoenix Early College High School program. This collaboration between school districts and UW-Green Bay provides students with dual enrollment, coaching and the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree beginning in their junior year of high school.
LCHS students earned another 443 college credits by taking college courses at the high school, taught by a high school teacher approved as a UW-Green Bay instructor.
Students also earned 37 total credits through the university’s Early College Credit Program, where students take dual-enrollment courses at a UWGB campus location or online, learning alongside other college students.
Beyond the post-secondary degree pathways offered through the UW-Green Bay partnership, LCHS students can also earn college credits through Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Fox Valley Technical College, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the Bellin College Healthcare Academy.
