These sports radio shows, podcasts live in Green Bay for NFL draft
GREEN BAY – The 2025 NFL draft will bring sports personalities from across the country to Green Bay, from former NFL stars turned podcasters, to some of the most popular voices in sports radio.
Several media shows will be present throughout the Lambeau Field area, with some allowing fans to come and watch live. Here are those that are confirmed, and where you can find them during draft week.
‘The Dan Patrick Show‘
Sports personality Dan Patrick will be hosting a live audience from 8-11 a.m. April 23-25 at The Bar, 2001 Holmgren Way, Ashwaubenon. Entry will be first-come, first served, with doors closing once capacity is reached.
‘The Doug Gottlieb Show‘
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men’s basketball head coach will be bringing his radio show to the stadium district. A representative for UWGB athletics confirmed with the Press-Gazette that Gottlieb will be hosting his show from 2-5 p.m. at the Legacy Hotel, 1004 Brett Favre Pass, on April 21 and 22, and then April 23-25 at The Bar, 2001 Holmgren Way.
Gottlieb’s shows at the Legacy Hotel will be part of an NFL Draft Primer, where Patrick and comedian Frank Caliendo will also be in attendance. Tickets for the primer are still available online, as the event starts at 5:30 p.m., with an after party taking place at 8 p.m. All proceeds will go toward the Fly With The Phoenix collective, UWGB’s NIL program for student athletes.
The Triple Option and Throwbacks
Two sports podcasts will be collaborating for the first time, as “The Triple Option” and “Throwbacks” will be live at noon April 24-25 at 1249 Shadow Lane, across the street from Lambeau Field.
“The Triple Option” is led by former NFL star Mark Ingram II, as well as former NFL and college coach Urban Meyer, and Fox Sports commentator Rob Stone. “Throwbacks” features former NFL quarterback Matt Leinart and actor Jerry Ferrara.
The Pat McAfee Show
It appears Pat McAfee and his crew had a change of heart when it came to broadcasting at the NFL draft. The Pat McAfee Show will broadcast in Green Bay during the draft, despite McAfee saying they wouldn’t due to a conflict with the NFL.
McAfee will be joined by cohost and former Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk. When he first said the show would not be coming to Green Bay, McAfee mentioned a person joining the show having “a very massive tie in Green Bay.” Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been a regular on the show.
It is unknown where McAfee will be filming, but his show normally runs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
