UW-Green Bay to host Mark Rourke, President and CEO with Schneider, speaking on Navigating Change: Schneider’s Blueprint for Leadership in a Dynamic World

Part of the ‘Bridging Success Through Leadership’ series in partnership with Schneider

Green Bay, WI —The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay will welcome Mark Rourke, president & chief executive officer with Schneider for a presentation highlighting Schneider’s success in an industry that is constantly changing. Rourke’s presentation is part of the Bridging Success Through Leadership speaker series and will address “Navigating and Dominating Change: Schneider’s Blueprint for Leadership in a Dynamic World.” The event will be held in-person on Monday, October 7, 2024, beginning at 5 p.m. at Fort Howard Hall in The Weidner on the Green Bay campus.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and Rourke will take the stage at 5 p.m. His presentation includes a Q and A opportunity from 5:30 – 6 p.m. facilitated by Jim Filter EVP, Group President – Transportation and Logistics at Schneider. After the presentation, attendees are encouraged to stay for light refreshments and networking from 6 – 7 p.m. The event is free for all UW-Green Bay faculty, staff and students and Schneider employees. Tickets are available to the general public for $10 each. Registration is open for the event.

Mark Rourke is the president and chief executive officer of Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, logistics and intermodal services.

Rourke joined Schneider in 1987 as a service team leader at the company’s Seville, Ohio, location. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Schneider’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. Rourke has held a variety of leadership roles with increasing responsibility, including president of Truckload Services and general manager of Schneider Transportation Management.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Akron and has attended programs on corporate governance and strategic leadership at Harvard University. Rourke serves on the board of directors for the Green Bay Packers, The Shyft Group and the Trucking Alliance.
