University of Wisconsin – Green Bay is delivering professional training to the Marinette region through six workshops that will integrate hard and soft skills.
Workshops will be a fit for entrepreneurs and professionals with responsibilities in operations, human resource management or new business development.
“Empowering our Marinette region with business and professional training is vital for fostering growth and innovation,” says Jess Lambrecht, Executive Officer, Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training, UW-Green Bay. “By taking suggestions from our business community, offering a wide range of options and keeping costs minimal, we invite all to participate and engage in learning to strengthen their skills for the future. We are committed to providing lifelong learning access for all professions, industries and community members.”
The workshops take place in-person on the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, and are offered to the community at a nominal fee. If you are a member of the Marinette Menominee Chamber of Commerce or Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, you can register in at a discount. Workshop fee includes lunch.
Workshop dates and topics include:
- April 24, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Generating New Business and Sales.
- May 7, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – QuickBooks Tips & Tricks.
- May 14, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Reignite: Strategies for Overcoming Burnout.
- May 16, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Effective Talent Acquisition Strategies.
- May 23, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Demystifying AI in Business.
- May 30, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Real Colors.
