Prof. Alan Chu joins the executive committee of the Society for Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology

Prof. Alan Chu, chair of M.S. Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, was appointed last week as the Communication Coordinator (2022-2024) of the Society for Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. The Society for Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology constitutes the Division 47 of the American Psychological Association (APA), aiming to bring together psychologists, as well as exercise and sport scientists, interested in research, teaching and service in this area. As the Communication Coordinator, Prof. Chu will be responsible for serving as the liaison with the APA Division Services, implementing executive committee directives regarding the focus and substance of the society communications, and publishing three newsletters each year.
