UW-Green Bay’s Lifelong Learning Institute to host ‘Intro Events’ at four campus locations.
Green Bay, Wis.—All are welcome at UW-Green Bay’s Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) where the curious can learn about everything from basic line dancing to Elon Musk’s mission to Mars. Starting next week, LLI members and volunteers are hosting “Intro Events” in all four campus communities.

The intro events will also cover practical matters like how to register for classes and give a preview of regular social events.
“LLI represents a very committed group of volunteers,” says Heidi Jahnke, Lifelong Learning Institute’s program specialist. “They really care about our members and want to offer classes that capture their imaginations and respond to what’s happening in the world.”
University faculty, experts in their fields and passionate enthusiasts with wide interests teach classes during the day in a variety of formats to members. Most classes are in-person with an additional mix of online and local tours. Classes may be one-day or multiple days. True to its university roots, members enroll in August for the fall semester and are eligible to take a minimum of 15 classes.
LLI maintains one full-time program specialist, who interacts with a determined taskforce of volunteers, including an elected board and functional committee chairs.
Interested members are invited to attend an “Intro Event” in their community. There is no need to register or RSVP in advance, just come with your curiosity.
