Freeman and Ocariz will compete in NCAA Nationals

UW-Green Bay Nordic skiers Carolyn Freeman and Santi Ocariz will compete in the NCAA National Championships in Steamboat, Col. March 11-13. Freeman, a junior from Ely, Minn., earned her trip to the nationals by virtue of a ninth-place finish at the regional competition. Ocariz, a senior from Spooner, earned his trip to the national competition with a second place in the regional. Both skiers recently earned first team all-conference honors. This will be Freeman’s second consecutive year competing in the national competition, and the fourth time for Ocariz.
