Sheboygan Campus Fine Arts Gallery to host ‘Plein Air Travels’
Sheboygan, Wis. — The public is invited to an opening of a new exhibit at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus Fine Arts Gallery.
“Plein Air Travels” by local plein air artist Keary Kautzer can be viewed from Thursday, Nov. 1 to Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, with an opportunity to meet Kautzer at the opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov 2.
The exhibit will feature a collection of 40 paintings featured are from the artist’s travels throughout the United States and Europe. Kautzer has completed at least one painting every day since Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, totaling more than 300 so far. His goal is to complete a painting every day this year. Complimentary refreshments will be served at the opening reception.
The Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Building at 1 University Drive, Sheboygan and is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
