Comedian Chang to perform on campus April 4

The Southeast Asian Student Union is hosting comedian Eliot Chang for a standup comedy show as part of its annual Asian Month Celebration. This show is in Phoenix AB at 7 p.m. Monday (April 4). This is a free show, however, no one under 17 will be permitted, with or without guardian. Eliot Chang’s TV appearances include his Comedy Central Presents half hour special, Showtime’s Minority Report, E!’s Chelsea Lately, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and Spike TV’s Crash Test. The Southeast Asian Student Union (SASU) is having its annual Egg Roll Sale. The egg rolls have pork, carrots, cabbage, bean thread, eggs, salt, and pepper. (A vegetarian option is also available, with no meat or MSG added.) To obtain an order form, please email Mai J. Lo Lee. Payment must be turned in to the American Intercultural Center (AIC, University Union Room 150) by 4 p.m. Thursday, March 24. This fundraiser is to help fund SASU’s annual Asian Month Celebration events and leadership conference trips.

Survivor survivor brings ‘Standing Up to Domestic Violence’ crusade here

The UW-Green Bay Southeast Asian Student Union is observing Asian Pacific Heritage Month and hosting a visit by Becky Lee at 5 p.m. next Tuesday (April 20) in the Phoenix Room. Lee uses the platform afforded by her second-runner-up finish on the CBS reality series “Survivor Cook Islands” to crusade against domestic violence.
