College Goal Wisconsin will be coming to UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018. College Goal Wisconsin events give students the opportunity to get free help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to getting professional help completing the FAFSA, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a scholarship drawing. The UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus will host a free event, organized by College Goal Wisconsin, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. in the Founders Hall computer labs. Financial aid professionals and educators are volunteering to help students and families for free. Read more.
GREEN BAY – Wisconsin students can get free help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at College Goal Wisconsin event hosted by UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, beginning at 6 p.m. in Founders Hall. The presentation will be in Room F166 with assistance in the two computer labs (F139 and F133).
Financial aid professionals and other educators volunteer at the event to help students and their families complete the FAFSA.
Anyone planning to pursue a postsecondary education in the 2019-20 academic year should complete a FAFSA. That includes high school seniors, continuing college students, transfer students and adult students considering pursuing higher education. The FAFSA is the form that must be submitted in order to be considered for federal and state financial aid including grants and loans.
Students pursuing post-secondary education in 2019-20 could access the FAFSA beginning Oct. 1, 2018. In addition to getting professional help, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a scholarship drawing.
