DigiCOPY will demo the UW-Green Bay DigiXpress Online Ordering System for new and existing users on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in IS Videoconference Room (IS1034). Each hour session will also include discussion for all current types of projects available and how to properly place these orders. Users are encouraged to bring suggestions for items not currently available on the site as well as feedback regarding challenges or ease of use. Refreshments will be provided.
DigiCOPY remains the campus vendor for duplicating services, but as our Log item earlier this summer indicated (see link below), they have made a big change by moving operations off campus to a downtown location. Their new retail outlet is at 211 E. Walnut St., Green Bay. On Thursday (Aug. 14), they will host open house hours for new and continuing customers, as follows:
- 7 to 8:30 a.m., coffee and donuts
4 to 5:30 p.m., coffee and cookies

It sounds confusing, but really isn’t. UW-Green Bay has awarded the new contract for copy center services to its longstanding incumbent vendor, DigiCopy, Inc., effective Aug. 1. What is changing is location. Duplicating has been headquartered in various places on campus over the years — in the Instructional Services Building and, most recently, in the University Union — but in August the contracted vendor will be located off-site, at a retail store located at 211 East Walnut Street, Green Bay, WI 54301. You will continue to work with the current DigiCopy staff members (Kim and Anne), who they may be reached at X2403 (no need to dial the prefix 465). The vendor will relocate from their on-campus presence in late July/early August; a smooth transition is planned with no break in service expected.
The online ordering system will remain the same; delivery will be made on a daily basis between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m., directly to the ordering department. Orders for black/white jobs will be delivered within 1 to 2 days (24-48 hours); color jobs will be delivered within 3 to 4 days of order date. Arrangement for expedited delivery of an order can be negotiated directly with Digicopy; however, compliance with the ordering timeframe mentioned above is expected. The vendor is required to respond to customer service problems within a maximum time limit of two hours. Billing on a daily basis to the departmental budgets will continue as it is done now.
The retail store hours will be:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
As a reminder, contract pricing is available for any faculty/staff orders that are for University purposes only. Personal orders for faculty/staff/student are allowed at a 25% discount off retail pricing. Contact Marie Helmke (email@example.com) with new account requests/revisions or with any other questions regarding the contract.
DigiCOPY has been awarded a one-year contract extension and will continue to provide copy center services to UW-Green Bay through August 2013. Purchasing Agent Marie Helmke is the University’s contract administrator; feel free to provide your feedback and ideas to her.
