Comedian Marc LaMotte to visit The Phoenix Club, Dec. 12

Comedian Marc LaMotte is visiting The Phoenix Club on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 at 8 p.m. With a unique charm and general ridiculous outlook on life, LaMotte is catching people’s attention. A former university advisor, Marc enjoyed working with students, but he found that he was much better at making them laugh than giving them career advice. Finally deciding to follow the advice that he had given to his students, he chose to follow his passion. Reminder: Larry the Cable Guy coming to the Weidner, Nov. 30

Entertainer Larry the Cable Guy is coming to the Weidner Center on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 for a performance starting at 8 p.m. This tour is titled “Larry the Cable Guy: Remain Seated” and will feature new material. Larry the Cable Guy is a multi-platinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner and one of the top comedians in the country. He has his own line of merchandise and continues to sell out theaters and arenas across the United States. Larry has created The Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after his signature catchphrase, and he has donated more than $7 million to various charities. Register for professional development workshop featuring Comedy City by Monday, March 18

Sponsored jointly by the Academic Staff Professional Development Program Committee and the University Staff Professional Development Committee, the professional development workshop “Teamwork, Communication, Creativity” will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Phoenix Club, located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union. Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will be stopping at the Weidner Center as a part of his Stay Hungry Tour on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at 7 p.m. Known by Newsday as “one of the hottest comics,” Maniscalco will have you laughing until it hurts with his commentary on modern life, crazy expressions and wild physicality on stage. Through his tour, the comedian inspires audiences to live by his favorite motto and “stay hungry.” Purchase tickets.

 

Just Announced: truTV Impractical Jokers coming to Weidner

The Tenderloins, a New York-based comedy troupe, are the creators, executive producers and stars of truTv’s hit series Impractical Jokers. Currently in its fifth season, Impractical Jokers follows the guys as they coerce one another into public pranking while being filmed by hidden cameras. Their highly successful tour, the truTV Impractical Jokers’ ‘Santiago Sent Us’ tour is a mix up of stand-up, never-before-seen hidden camera videos, sorties and insight. The tour will perform at the Weidner Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 11.
