UW-Green Bay alumnus and former Phoenix basketball player Tony Bennett and his father, former Phoenix men’s basketball coach Dick Bennett, will be playing a round of golf at the Augusta National Golf Club, per a wager the father-son duo made: if Tony made it to the Final Four, Dick would agree to play at Augusta. UW-Green Bay alumna, Lukan, pens piece on Olympic journey

UW-Green Bay alumna Megan Lukan ’15 (Business Administration, Communication) penned the piece “Coincidence or Fate: My Journey to the Olympics.” Lukan chronicles her journey to the Olympics, in which she won a bronze medal representing the Canadian Women’s Rugby Sevens Team. Lukan played on the women’s basketball team during her time at UW-Green Bay. Alumna Amanda Leonhard-Perry named St. Norbert College head coach

UW-Green Bay alumna Amanda Leonhard-Perry ’03 (Business Administration), who has served as assistant coach for UW-Green Bay women’s basketball for the last 11 seasons, has recently been named the new women’s basketball head coach at St. Norbert College. Leonhard-Perry also played basketball for UW-Green Bay during her time as a student. Incredible postseason journey for men’s basketball comes to an end

Green Bay men’s basketball ended its postseason strong with finishing as the runner-up in the Collegeinsider.com Tournament (CIT). The CIT championship game, taking place on Thursday, April 4, 2019, saw the Phoenix fall to Marshall 90-70. This was the first postseason championship game in program history.
