UW-Green Bay alumna Megan Lukan ’15 (Business Administration, Communication) penned the piece “Coincidence or Fate: My Journey to the Olympics.” Lukan chronicles her journey to the Olympics, in which she won a bronze medal representing the Canadian Women’s Rugby Sevens Team. UW-Green Bay alumna Amanda Leonhard-Perry ’03 (Business Administration), who has served as assistant coach for UW-Green Bay women’s basketball for the last 11 seasons, has recently been named the new women’s basketball head coach at St. Norbert College. Green Bay men’s basketball ended its postseason strong with finishing as the runner-up in the Collegeinsider.com Tournament (CIT). The CIT championship game, taking place on Thursday, April 4, 2019, saw the Phoenix fall to Marshall 90-70. This was the first postseason championship game in program history.
