UW-Green Bay presents array of Winter/Spring 2013 Offerings for Educators

UW-Green Bay Education Outreach will present a full slate of Offerings for Educators during winter/spring 2013, providing in-person and online course options to accommodate participants’ busy schedules.

These research-based courses provide teachers, administrators and other professionals the practical education they need to apply theory and best practices to the classroom and school environment. Many courses have graduate, undergraduate and noncredit options, so educators can choose the option that best suits their personal and professional goals.

Courses offered for winter/spring include “Culturally Responsive Teaching to Maximize Student Potential,” a timely and relevant class that helps educators address a variety of diversities, maximize student potential and create an inclusive classroom environment. Educators also can choose the popular “Digital Safety and Responsibility in the 21st Century Classroom,” which focuses on safe and responsible technology use, or “Educational Improvisation: Enhancing Creativity in Common Core Classrooms,” which helps teachers think “outside the box” when it comes to classroom management, student engagement and more. Other courses include “Planning for Student Success,” “Character-Centered Teaching” and “Differentiated Instruction,” just to name a few.
