FranklinCovey’s ‘7 Habits’ offered by UW-Green Bay’s SBDC

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering FranklinCovey’s “7 Habits for Small Business Managers,” a two-day program based on Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”

The program gives new and experienced managers a set of tools that will help them meet today’s management challenges. Participants will gain skills in conflict resolution, strategic leadership, collaboration, prioritization, and performance management.

This program is in collaboration with the Small Business Development Centers across the United States. FranklinCovey has customized its “7 Habits Workshops” to fit the needs of business owners, managers and employees. Participants must be from an organization of fewer than 300 employees based on the contract between FranklinCovey and the SBDC network.

FranklinCovey is a global consulting and training leader in the areas of strategy execution, customer loyalty, leadership and individual effectiveness. Clients include 90 percent of the Fortune 100, more than 75 percent of the Fortune 500, thousands of small- and mid-sized businesses, as well as numerous government entities and educational institutions.

The program is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Nov. 12 and 19, at the Business Assistance Center, 2701 Larsen Road in Green Bay.

The program is well established as one of the most powerful management development programs in business today and is available for small businesses at $395 per participant.
