UW-Green Bay to host safe trick-or-treat

Community members are invited to bring their children to a Safe Trick-or-Treat Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Trick-or-treaters and their guardians may arrive at the Ecumenical Center on the east side of campus at any time between 6 and 8 p.m. Parking is in the sports center lot between the Kress Events Center and the Ecumenical Center. No parking pass is needed during this time.

Light snacks, refreshments and crafts will be provided at the Ecumenical Center.

Students, dressed as ghosts, will serve as tour guides for the elementary school children. The student volunteers will accompany the trick-or-treating groups throughout various residence halls and apartment buildings where participating students will share Halloween treats.

The Community Apartment Board (CAB), a student programming organization for residents of the apartments on campus, hosts the Safe Trick-or-Treat Night. Pre-registration is requested. For information contact the office of UW-Green Bay Residence Life at (920) 465-2040.
