UW-Green Bay offers Fall 2008 courses for educators

GREEN BAY — Educators seeking to enhance their professional development and licensure renewal opportunities can choose from more than 20 credit and noncredit programs offered this fall by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Education Outreach Program.

Offerings include the popular Spanish for Professionals program, strategies for working with disengaged learners, training opportunities for supervising student teachers, an online course in technology integration, a field-based course that includes the on-site study of the glacial geology of Southeastern Wisconsin, and a culturally responsive teaching course taught in conjunction with the Institute for Learning Partnership’s Fall Conference.

UW-Green Bay courses for educators are for graduate credit unless otherwise indicated in the course listing. Some courses are offered with credit and noncredit options.

Enrollment in all classes is limited. Registration at least two weeks before the start of a course is recommended.
