Business honor society inducts 36 new members at UW-Green Bay
Thirty-five University of Wisconsin-Green Bay students and one individual from the Northeastern Wisconsin business community this spring were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the national honor society for business, accounting and management undergraduate and graduate students.
The induction took place April 27, and was presided over by Lucy Arendt, chapter president and director of the Cofrin School of Business; Don McCartney, chapter vice president and assistant chairperson of the Cofrin School of Business; and Bob Nagy, chapter secretary/treasurer and associate professor in the Cofrin School of Business. Honorary inductee Paul Northway, class of 1990 and Regional President for Baylake Bank, was the event’s keynote speaker.
The local chapter of Sigma Beta Delta has inducted 351 individuals since it was formed at UW-Green Bay in 2004. This year’s inductees included three students pursuing Master’s of Management degrees, three undergraduates with junior status and 29 undergraduates with senior status.
