Theatre on the Bay is preparing for summer musical “9 to 5 The Musical” and is currently scheduling auditions. “9 to 5 The Musical” is based on the 1980 hit movie. It’s a hilarious story of friendship and revenge set in the Rolodex era, featuring a wide-ranging cast of characters, along with an ensemble.
Auditions are offered Tuesday and Wednesday, May 3 and May 4, from 5-9 p.m. at UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, Theatre Building Room T-133 Dance Studio. Interested actors are asked to sign-up for an audition time by visiting the website. They will be asked to give a cold reading from the provided script and prepare a 1-2 minute piece from a contemporary musical to display vocal range.
Evening and matinee performances for “9 to 5 The Musical” will take place Fridays and Saturdays, July 14, 15, 22, 23, at 7 p.m. and Sundays, July 17 and 24, at 2 p.m.
