UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus Fine Arts Gallery opens new exhibit on Friday, Apr. 5
Green Bay, Wis — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus Fine Arts Gallery invites the community to see its latest art exhibit, Paintings and Portraits: Artwork by Joe Boblick. There will be a special artist reception on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 6 p.m. from 8 p.m. The exhibition will run from Friday, Apr. 5, 2019 through Friday, Apr. 26, 2019.

Joe Boblick is an artist, teacher and ornamental plasterer working in the Milwaukee area. After having earned his MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he has worked in the Milwaukee area, teaching at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, UW-Milwaukee and the University School of Milwaukee. Joe regularly exhibited his work at Galleria Del Conte and Art Asia in Milwaukee. His work is in private collections in the Milwaukee area, London and Ireland. As an ornamental plasterer, Joe has worked for Orlandini Studios, completing restoration and renovation work on such historic buildings as St. Josephat’s Basilica in Milwaukee, Riverbend/Governor Kohler’s residence in Kohler Wisconsin and the Central Library in Milwaukee. He resides in Port Washington with his wife, daughter and menagerie of pets.
