FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 16, 2024

The 100% online program will be held March 11 to April 19

Green Bay, WI —UW-Green Bay’s new Applied AI Noncredit Certificate Program has been designed for business professionals and leaders to supersize brain power by leveraging AI. Learning how and when to best use AI will increase efficiency, boost profitability and deliver more business value.

As digital transformation explodes, research shows that AI adoption is positively correlated with superior business outcomes in revenue, cost, and profitability—and this finding holds true across all industries. Notably, industries that are data-intense like banking and insurance will find particular value in adopting AI. But AI is also emerging as a key difference-maker in other areas of business and will benefit leaders and professionals with responsibilities in these areas:

  • E-commerce
  • Marketing and social media
  • Healthcare
  • Security
  • Transportation
  • Customer relations

This certificate encompasses four focused modules that are 100% online and can be completed in six weeks. The Spring 2024 certificate will run from March 11 to April 19.

  • Foundations of AI – Provides an overview of AI development over time, including its progress over the decades, significant research and milestones. Experiment with diverse AI tools, encompassing visual AI, conversational AI, AI art generators, and more.
  • AI Applications in Business – Explores how AI can be leveraged in business, most effectively in marketing and customer relations.
  • Ethical & Social Impact – Discusses ethical obligations, human responsibility and societal impacts of AI.
