Wisconsin football fans were down but not out when they heard that, for the second consecutive year, they won’t get to hear the classic Badgers anthem “Jump Around” during Monday’s Rose Bowl. Last year, reports the Wisconsin State Journal’s Deborah Ziff, fans jumped and yelled “Jump!” sans music, but this time — thanks to the aptly named “Operation Jump Around” — they hope to add the House of Pain ditty itself to their revelry. The plan, Ziff reports, is for fans to download “Jump Around” to their phones, turn the devices to speaker mode and hit “play” at the precise moment the clock hits zero at the end of the third quarter. No one is sure how the stunt will work, but organizers — the L.A. chapter of the Wisconsin Alumni Association — have high hopes. Click for the full story (and how you can play, too). Good luck and go Bucky!
