“A week ago I saw a boy nearly hit by a car across from my son’s school, said UW-Green Bay lecturer Tara DaPra (Englsih, Humanities). “It was terrifying. So I took that fear and anxiety turned it into action. I wrote to the mayor, the alderman representing the district, the principal, and the paper. An op-ed will be printed in Sunday’s Green Bay Press-Gazette paper and is online today.
