December graduating class will be a record

The graduating class of December 2010 will, once again, break a record for mid-year Commencement at UW-Green Bay. A report Thursday from Deborah Furlong of Institutional Research says the total will almost certainly exceed 400 bachelor’s and master’s degrees for the first time in school history. (Final numbers, of course, depend on candidates completing all their requirements.) The final total for December 2009, the previous high, was 391. On the master’s degree side, the previous record for UW-Green Bay was 22, in 2005, and that mark, too, could fall when all is said and done. There were about two dozen applicants for master’s graduation as of mid-week.
