Video: Exam Week is quiet success at new Miller Reading Room

You won’t find the latest addition to the Cofrin Library on the shelves but, rather, behind the glass on the fifth floor. New this fall, thanks to a generous donation from the Miller family, students are enjoying the Norman and Shirlyn Miller Reading Room. The Millers have been longtime supporters of UW-Green Bay. Shirlyn was an original member of the Board of Visitors, and the late Norman Miller served on the Founders Association Board. Library Director Paula Ganyard says that, for years, students have asked for more quiet study space in the library. “Libraries have the reputation of traditionally being a very quiet place but libraries today aren’t the libraries of years ago,” she says.
